Residential Tenancy Branch launches new online application for dispute resolution

residential property

The Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) has launched a new online application for dispute resolution that improves access to the department’s services for landlords and tenants.

With this new and improved tool, landlords and tenants can upload evidence, apply for a fee waiver and check on the status of applications, all on their own time. Additionally, the service offers a feature which alerts the landlord  should a tenant decide to file for a review of a decision.

By improving the self-service capability on the RTB website, landlords and tenants will require fewer phone calls and trips to RTB or Service BC offices, freeing up time for staff to attend to other issues and concerns for landlords and tenants.
